Busy Weekend

We had a three day weekend for Moon Festival so we went BBQing with friends and visited with my sister. Busy and fun!

Oh and then a strong typhoon came, so we had another day off!

Jonathan can't eat after the sun goes down today until tomorrow evening. Every year I ask the same question: " Will you be ok?"

Mama Goes to the Gym

All-Day Sickness

Wanted to write down my all-day sickness so my kids can read when they are teenagers and try not to be too rebellious.

 "All-day sickness" is actually an understatement because it was 24-7 sickness.

When I was pregnant with Nathan, I felt nauseous all day but when I slept I felt fine. Of course I threw up every day until  six months and then it got better so I threw up once in a while until eight months.

This time, it was different. I started feeling nauseous at week five and started throwing up.

Singing (Mandarin)

Before nap, Nathan talks, sings, reads (loves to read the caterpillar book before naps) and plays with me. 

He wants to play more but I tell him I'm tired and I want to sleep.

He also asks to brush his teeth...

Rosh Hashanah!

Ordering Food

Nathan asks his dad to talk to him on the phone, his phone being a TV remote control.  He says 喂 (Hello) and 冰淇淋 [bing chi ling] (Ice Cream). He tends to speak more Chinese than English these days.

When I say 章魚(octopus), he'll make this octopus face and I would say "my baby octopus!" and laugh. ❤️

媽媽來囉!

Nathan loves to act like he's scared when I play this 媽媽來囉 game with him.He says "Mama, hold me" in Mandarin while pretending to be scared. :D
