Went visiting Taipei American School. It was established 69 years ago and it was mostly for kids from US Embassy and military working in Taiwan back then.
Now, it's for kids from US embassy and wealthy international families. Their priority is American kids (kids holding American passports) and then other foreign kids.
They have preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. School itself is beyond belief. Their facilities are too amazing. They even have a soccer field on the campus!
It's the best international school in Asia, and ranked high in American education system. Lots of politicians, celebrities, and wealthy families send their kids there. A friend of Jonathan's who sent his teenage son there told us the waiting list is long.
Tuition? At least 800,000 NTD (24,200 USD) per year. Yup, it's that expensive.
